Wow… amazing! I just have to start by saying that because this highlighter is absolutely gorgeous! It has the perfect balance between being noticeable, yet subtle enough to look natural. It comes in a pretty box that feels very luxurious and when you open it and sweep it on you feel luxurious too!
Dior Shimmer Powder in the color 002 Amber Diamond gives a peachy-gold glow to your cheeks that looks healthy and fresh. I really like the fact that there are no pink undertones in this highlighter because it just looks more natural this way.

If you’re not familiar with highlighters I can tell you that it’s a product that is made to highlight the areas of your face that you want to bring out. Your cheek bones are the main area, but also down your nose, under your brows and a touch on the Cupid’s bow. It makes those features stand out and makes you even more gorgeous. J
A highlighter is a subtle product (at least that’s how I see it) and I don’t want you to run to the store and buy this and then expect it to dramatically show up on your face. It doesn’t work that way. A highlighter shows up when the light hits it and gives it a glow. So it’s a subtle product, but it makes a great difference in the appearance of your face. If it’s a good highlighter that is… And Dior Amber Diamond is a really, really good highlighter.
It’s quite expensive… that’s true. But considering how good it is and the fact that I expect it to last for a couple of years at least, it suddenly doesn’t feel so expensive anymore.
There are a lot of makeup products out there that aren’t “must-haves” and that are just good or fun to have. I don’t see highlighters as being the kind of product you must have (of you’re not a makeup artist), but this product is so good that I think this is something most people would love to have in their makeup bag. Dior Shimmer Powder Amber Diamond is a fantastic highlighter and the kind of product that if you just want to spend money on a few products - this is one of them. I just love it!! Nothing makes you look as beautiful as a glowing skin, and this highlighter gives you that.

Om du inte är bekant med highlighters kan jag berätta att det är en produkt som är gjord för att highlighta de områden i ditt ansikte som du vill framhäva. Dina kindben är det främsta området, men även ner över näsan, under ögonbrynen och lite grann vid amorbågen. Det gör att dessa drag står ut mer och gör dig ännu snyggare. J
En highlighter är en subtil produkt (det är i alla fall så jag ser det) och jag vill inte att du rusar till affären och köper den här och sedan förväntar dig att den dramatiskt ska lysa upp ditt ansikte. Den fungerar inte så. En highlighter lyser upp när ljuset träffar den och ger ifrån sig glans. Så det är en subtil produkt, men den gör stor skillnad i hur ditt ansikte framträder. Om det är en bra highlighter vill säga… Och Dior Amber Diamond är verkligen, verkligen en bra highlighter.
Det är ganska dyr… det är sant. Men med tanke på hur bra den är och det faktum att jag förväntar mig att den kommer att räcka i minst ett par år, så känns det plötsligt inte så dyr längre.
Det finns många makeupprodukter som inte är ”måste-ha” och som bara är bra eller roliga att ha. Jag ser inte highlighter som en produkt som man måste ha (om man inte är makeupartist), men den här produkten är så bra att jag tror att de flesta skulle älska att ha den i sin makeupväska. Dior Shimmer Powder Amber Diamond är en fantastisk highlighter och den sortens produkt att om du bara vill spendera pengar på några få produkter så är detta en av dem. Jag bara älskar den!! Ingenting får dig att bli så vacker som en skinande hy och den här highlightern ger dig det.
