So, I have to admit that I was sceptical about trying this mascara. My experience with these "regular brands" mascaras aren't that good, but at the same time I didn't want to get stuck in an prejudice world thinking only expensive mascaras can be good. And not all expensive mascaras are good either for that matter...
I wouldn't have bought the Maybelline Define A Lash if it hadn't been for my little sister (thanks Ulrica!). She has the pink Maybelline Define A Lash (which is the version which is both volumizing and lengthening) and I used in on her in one of my tutorials on YT. I thought it was quite good and I wanted to try it out on myself. I couldn't find the pink one in the stores so I bought the green one instead. The green Maybelline Define A Lash is a lengthening mascara. As always I got the waterproof version.

I'm really impressed with this mascara. The brush is amazing and makes separating the lashes super easy. It's not dramatic, so I wouldn't use it for a night out when I put on heavier makeup, but for every day use it's a winner.
You all know how I love my MUFE Aqua Smoky Lash mascara, and although I wouldn't go as far as to say this is better, the Maybelline Define A Lash definitely has some aspects where I prefer it to the Smoky Lash. The Maybelline Define A Lash doesn't bleed onto the skin for example. Some days I get a small black smudge under my eye by the end of the day, but it's really so little it's almost nothing. The MUFE Smoky Lash definitely bleeds more.
I would definitely recommend this mascara! It's easy to use, looks good and it also holds the curl all day which is essential to me.
Tack! Jag med =)
